Aluminum Window & Door FAQ

Answers to the most common questions from builders, contractors, distributors, and architects worldwide.

Ordering
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?+

MOQ is 30 units for standard products and 100 units for custom profiles. Sample orders of 1–5 units are available.

Can I order custom sizes and shapes?+

Yes. We support custom sizes and shapes with CNC precision cutting at ±0.2mm tolerance.

What is the lead time?+

Standard lead time is 25 days. Custom profiles or special configurations require 35–40 days.

Pricing
What is the FOB price range?+

FOB pricing varies by configuration — profile series, glass type, hardware grade, finish, and performance parameters all affect unit cost.

Do you offer volume discounts?+

Yes. Volume discounts are available for container-load and project orders.

Engineering
What DP ratings do you offer?+

We offer DP30 to DP60+ rated systems. Hurricane-zone products achieve DP50–DP60 with impact glass, meeting Miami-Dade HVHZ thresholds.

Can you meet AS2047?+

All products are engineered to comply with AS2047 requirements for water tightness, wind pressure, and air infiltration.

Testing & Certification
Do you have certifications like NOA, ENERGY STAR, or CE?+

Through our certification partnerships, StarveilBuild can provide complete supporting documentation for CE, NFRC, AS2047, CSA, and Miami-Dade NOA standards.

Who owns the certification?+

For co-branded certification, certificates are issued under your brand with StarveilBuild as the manufacturing partner.

How long does the certification process take?+

8–12 weeks for Miami-Dade NOA, 6–8 weeks for AS2047, and 10–14 weeks for CE marking.

Shipping
What Incoterms do you support?+

We support FOB (Foshan or Guangzhou), CIF, and DDP terms. FOB is the most common for established importers.

Do you help with customs documentation?+

Yes. We provide commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, and FTA certificates (FORM E, FORM A).
